The pottery is made in Lancaster County, PA. They are lead free, completely functional and suitable to use in the microwave, oven, freezer and dishwasher. Each piece of pottery is high fired, entirely handmade from start to finish and crafted with the highest standard of materials and workmanship. All personalized pieces require at least 11 separate steps and have a minumin of four different artists contributing to the work. All characters are embossed into the clay for a rich look and feel. All crocks are stone gray with cobalt blue designs.
